AIFF Executive Committee meeting to be held on January 15

The All India Football Federation today informed the media that the first AIFF Executive Committee meeting for the new 2013-16 period will be held on January 15, 2013. They key topic of discussion will be the suspension of Mohun Bagan AC from the I-League.

Meanwhile the I-League Core Committee meeting, which was scheduled for Wednesday, January 9 has been deferred till further notice.

It looks to be that the AIFF has accepted a request from Mohun Bagan AC to have the issue of their I-League suspension discussed in the AIFF Executive Committee instead of the I-League Core Committee.
