Al-Taawoun host Al-Qadisiyah on Tuesday for the quarter-final clash in the King's Cup of Champions, looking to recover from their last defeat. The Buraidah outfit went into the mid-season break after suffering a 4-2 home loss to Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League.

Having raced to a 2-0 lead after quickfire goals from Joao Pedro and Musa Barrow in the 21st and 23rd minutes, they proceeded to implode spectacularly in the second half to concede thrice, after Roger Ibanez had pulled one back deep into stoppage time of the opening stanza.
