Alberto Moreno reveals it will be strange playing against Sevilla in the Europa League final
Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno said on Tuesday that the Europa League final on Wednesday against Sevilla in Basel will be "strange" as he will be playing against his former Spanish football club.
Liverpool will face Sevilla on Wednesday in the UEFA Europa League final at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland, reports Efe.
"It will be a strange final. I was born in Seville, I'm from Seville and I'm a Sevilla fan," Moreno told the UEFA website.

"I was at Sevilla for ten years -- from a young age -- but now I'm a Liverpool player," the Spanish player explained.
Moreno played at Europa League defending Champions Sevilla before joining the English club in the summer of 2014.
The Spanish left-back pointed out that he is "happy" at Liverpool, as he believes he is "developing further" as a footballer.

"A year and a half ago I was sharing the dressing room with my friends at Sevilla, and now I'll be facing them in a European final. It will be fantastic," he acknowledged.
"You should never let your head drop, and knowing that -- with the support of all our fans and all our families who will be there to cheer us on -- we will try to give everything to win that final," Moreno pledged.
