Rumour: Alvaro Morata to reject Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester United interest for Juventus move
Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has told the club that if he isn’t sold to Juventus this summer he will leave on a free transfer next summer, reports the Daily Express.
Carlo Ancelotti has said the forward could leave on loan, but Madrid president Florentino Perez does not want to sell Morata and has been insistent on a buy-back clause in any permanent deal. Clubs have also been put off by the £20 million price tag that has been placed on the talented but unproven Spaniard.
Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United have all been eyeing the talented young striker, but he is set to ignore the interest from the Premier League in order to pursue a move to the Serie A champions.
Morata, who was top scorer at the 2013 European Under-21 Championships, has stunned Madrid with his ultimatum. A fee of £14 million with a £24 million buy-back clause is now believed to be enough to take the striker to Turin.
