Ambrosini joins Fiorentina

A new challenge awaits Massimo Ambrosini

Massimo Ambrosini has joined Fiorentina from fellow Serie A side AC Milan. The sum is believed to be in the range of €700,000.

The former Rossoneri skipper joins the team commonly referred to as ‘Viola‘ on a one-year contract.

Ambrosini made 344 appearances for AC Milan, during his 18 year stay at the San Siro. In 2009, after the retirement of Milan legend Paolo Maldini, Ambrosini was named as the club captain.

During his stay at AC Milan, Ambrosini won 2 Champions League trophies, 4 Serie A titles, and 1 Coppa Italia.
