Ancelotti fits the bill at the Bernabeu, says Florentino Perez
The Real Madrid president Florentina Perez has claimed that Carlo Ancelotti would be the best replacement for Jose Mourinho and the perfect man to manage Real Madrid.
However, Perez insisted that nothing is confirmed yet as Ancelotti is still left with one-year on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Florentina Perez told Antena 3: “Ancelotti fits the bill at the Bernabeu. He’s a magnificent coach that I’ve thought about hiring before. He’s at a club with which we maintain good relations with and he has one year left of his contract. We’re going to wait and see what happens.”
Perez also claimed that he would love Zinedine Zidane, who is the sporting director of the club, to become a coach.
“Zidane’s really enthusiastic about becoming a coach and I would love him to [become coach of this club], but I think he wants to work as an assistant coach first. He will be here next week and then we’ll sit down and look at the possibilities, but he wants to work as an assistant coach first,” added Perez.
