Andre Villas-Boas keen to reunite with Juan Mata in January
According to reports in the Portuguese media, Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas is all set to land Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata in January.
The player has been struggling to find a starting place under Jose Mourinho and is expected to leave Stamford Bridge and reunite with former boss AVB. Villa-Boas was the one who bought Mata to England and is believed to be interested in the Spaniard despite boasting a good attacking midfield at Tottenham.
However, Chelsea is unlikely to sell Mata to a league rival. Mata is also linked with a move to Napoli which will reunite him with former Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez with whom Mata flourished last season.
