Andrea Pirlo says quotes on Paul Pogba and Manchester United are false

Pirlo’s fake interview exposed by Pirlo!

This comes as a shock to many. Recently the Dailymail released an interview with Andrea Pirlo which stated that he and the Juve players couldn;t believe how good Paul Pogba was when he first arrived at Juventus and were laughed at Manchester United for letting him go on a free.

But Pirlo has taken to Instagram to say that the complete interview with DailyMail was complete rubbish. The Italian playmaker has claimed the interview was fabricated and that he never said any of those things, let alone give an interview about it to the paper.

This is what he said in the interview with the news website:

“On the first day training session Pogba had with Juventus the players were laughing.

We were not laughing for any other reason than we were just in total disbelief that this player with so much obvious ability was able to leave a club the size of Manchester United for free — and I think Juventus are still laughing.

We were walking back to the dressing room after the session and I clearly remember Gianluigi Buffon coming up to me laughing and he just said: “Did they really let him go for free?

They signed a player of his quality for no money, he was a big part of them winning trophies in four seasons, and they then sell him for £90m. Whatever way you look at it, Juventus have got a great deal.

He is the best young player I have ever seen, and I don’t think we are far away from calling him the best player in the world. It has been between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for many years now, but football should get ready for a new king.”

In response to that article Pirlo put up this post on Instagram:

Just to make it clear, I never gave any interview to the daily mail talking about Pogba and Manchester Per essere chiari, non ho mai rilasciato alcuna intervista al daily mail che si riferisse a Pogba ed il Manchester #stopbs

In the post, he says, “Just to make it clear, I never gave any interview to the daily mail talking about Pogba and Manchester.” Pirlo is obviously a very angry man after hearing about the fabricated news and he also tweeted the same message.

The news is not very encouraging and questions the integrity of the paper itself.
