The forward took his country, France to the finals and scored six goals in the competition, but could not inspire his team to a victory in their home country as Portugal’s Eder proved to be the difference and stole a goal to give his country their first ever major international trophy.

Griezmann had an excellent season with Atletico Madrid as he scored 22 goals in 38 La Liga appearances, helping his team to a third place finish and a runner-up medal in the Champions League finals, where they lost to cross-town rivals, Real Madrid.

I want to improve every year, and the club, the coaches, and my teammates can help me to reach this goal”.
