Video: Arsenal star Mesut Ozil reveals the 'Ultimate XI' of players he has played with
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has had his up’s and down’s in the Premier League, he surely is one of the most talented player in the Arsenal squad but Ozil might raise some concerns among Gooners by naming just 2 players from his current club in his ‘Ultimate XI’. The 2nd player Serge Gnabry, was included just because he was present while Ozil was revealing the line-up.
In goal, Ozil had a tough decision to make between his national team goal-keeper Manuel Neuer and the Real Madrid captain, the German included Iker Casillas in the line-up calling him “The Best Goalkeeper In The World”
Defenders
Mesut quickly named his best pal in Real Madrid Sergio Ramos as the Centre Back in the line-up. He also named his international team-mate Jerome Boateng to partner Sergio Ramos at the back.
In the left back position he picked the Brazilian Marcelo & on the other side his compatriot and World Cup winning captain Phillip Lahm.
Midfielders
Mesut’s midfield featured Xabi Alonso, as he called him the player with best passing ability in the world. He was paired with another Spaniard Santi Cazorla in midfield making him the first Arsenal player in the list.
On the left, without a doubt he named Cristiano Ronaldo. On the right side it took him a while to think but finally he named former Madrid man, Angel Di maria, Ozil praised the ambition & desire of the now Manchester United player.
Forwards
Ozil named Karim Benzema as he referred to the Frenchman as the complete striker.
And in the No.10 position Ozil made decision to include of Arsenal team-mate Serge Gnabry as he was around when Ozil was naming the line-up.
