Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky hints at MLS move
The 33-year-old Czech international could be heading to the MLS at the end of the season. Tomas Rosicky is currently in the last year of his contract and has hinted at a move to the MLS.
As per reports in Independent, the 33-year-old playmaker has spoken of his desire to finish career at the Emirates but will move to America if he is not offered a new deal. Having suffered a lot of injuries the previous season, Rosicky has still managed to be an integral part of Arsene Wenger’s in this campaign, making 15 appearances in all competitions.
Tomas Rosicky said: ” I would like to carry on [at Arsenal] but there are a few question marks. I would say within a few weeks we will know more.”
“If the day comes and I leave Arsenal, then I will be surely considering a move to play on a different continent.
“If it was possible, I would love to end my career at Arsenal, which is something I have said many times before.
“If I should leave, however, then I would be tempted to play in the USA. Football has been on the rise there, and I’m interested in trying a different style of life.”
“By that, I’m not ruling out a return to Sparta Prague, though.”
The Czech international also hopes that the Czech Republic football team qualifies for the Euro 2016 as he wishes to represent the national team for one last time.
