Arsenal have most expensive season ticket, Manchester City the cheapest in Premier League (2014/15)
Even though Premier League clubs have come into a lot of money thanks to new broadcast deals worth £5.5 billion over three years, EPL fans continue to suffer with as many as 13 clubs increasing their season ticket prices for the 2014/15 season.
According to Sporting Intelligence, the highest increase in season ticket prices was seen by newly promoted Burnley, with their lowest season ticket price increased by 47%. FA Cup runners-up Hull City also increased their lowest season ticket price by 25%.
QPR and Burnley also increased their highest priced season ticket by 38% and 37% respectively.
Sursprisingly, EPL champions Manchester City have the cheapest season ticket in the league at £299 while FA Cup winners Arsenal’s cheapest ticket at the Emirates Stadium is a whopping £1,014!
London is easily the most expensive city with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham pricing their most expensive season tickets at more than £1,000; with Arsenal going as high as £2,013 per season ticket.
The average price of a lowest priced season ticket in the Premier League is now £526, an increase of 6.5% from last year. The average price of the highest priced season ticket is now £870, up 7% from last year.
