Aston Villa and Tottenham starting eleven update: Eriksen, Demebele on the bench

Andre Villas-Boas has sprung a surprise by ringing the changes for their visit to Villa Park to take on Paul Lambert’s Aston Villa with Danish attacker Christian Eriksen omitted from the starting line-up.

Lambert has decided not to risk Christian Benteke, who will start the game on the bench. This season, the Belgian forward has scored four goals from five games. He has scored one goal with his right-foot, one with his left-foot and has tapped away two headed goals. Lambert will be hoping Benteke can make an impact from the bench.
