Reports: Barcelona agree terms with €90 million rated superstar

Barcelona have agreed terms with Philippe Coutinho according to SPORT. The Spanish publication reports that the Brazilian wants to quit the Merseyside club and move to Spain this summer.
Liverpool are reportedly willing to let go of the midfielder for €90 million. The Catalan side see him as the ideal replacement for Andres Iniesta and want to sign him up.
In case you didn’t know...
Andrés Iniesta has reportedly decided to leave Barcelona when his contract expires at the end of the 2017/18 season. The Spaniard wants the club to sign his replacement this summer so that the transition is smooth according to reports. Coutinho has been linked with a move to Camp Nou for a long time now. His best friend Neymar and Ronaldinho have been persuading him to make the switch.
The heart of the matter
Barcelona have struck a deal with Coutinho regarding a move to Camp Nou in the summer. The Catalan side are now set to begin negotiations with Liverpool for the Brazilian.
The playmaker has been Liverpool's best player for the last 2-3 seasons and has been single-handedly leading the Anfield side's surge to a top 4 finish. They were well on course to challenge Chelsea for the Premier League title this season. However, an injury to Coutinho derailed it.
Apart from the Brazilian, Marco Verratti and Saul Niguez have also been linked with a move to replace Iniesta at Barcelona. Blaugrana have agreed a deal with their new manager but are yet to announce him.
Liverpool are not interested in selling their best player in the summer, but the Catalan side desperate to sign him. The Anfield side has quoted a fee of €90 million for him and are waiting for Barcelona to respond.
Reports in March suggested that Ivan Rakitic was offered to the Premier League side as a sweetener in the deal. The Merseyside club rejected the bid straight away as they were not interested in signing the Croatian.
What’s next?
Barcelona will try and negotiate a deal with Liverpool in the coming weeks. They want to finish off their transfer business as soon as possible and have been in talks with several targets. They will try and reduce the price and given that they are set for a squad overhaul in the summer, they will also be willing to offer a player of two in the deal to get Coutinho.
