Barcelona forward insists that they won't be making the same mistake again
Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez has said that his team has learned from their 2-0 loss against AC Milan in the Champions League group stages last season and that the Spanish giants will not repeat the same mistakes again.
He said, “We learned from last year’s experience.Milan has always shown great heart, it is important to play 90 minutes with great concentration. They have great players. Last year they showed that and I love coming to play in Italy again.”
He then switched the topic and spoke about his performance and his readiness to feature in the squad saying, “I have always felt the same. Eager to prove myself in each game. The mentality that I have had since the beginning, playing at 100 per cent, has brought the goal. That is what has changed.”
“And I always give my 100 per cent. In Barca there are so many good players, I am ready to play but I do not feel a starter because there is Tello, Pedro.
“The criticisms give me more strength. Now I am in a place that I do not want to leave. Playing with Neymar gives me happiness and confidence.”
The Chilean is cited to be the preferred player by coach Tata Martino in Barcelona’s attack today ahead of Messi and Neymar.
