Barcelona News: Luis Suarez reveals the one thing he misses the most about PSG star Neymar
What's the story?
Barcelona and Uruguay forward Luis Suarez has opened up about what he thinks about Neymar and also talked about rumors surrounding the former Camp Nou favorite in an exclusive interview with Sport.
During the course of the interview, he said that it is always good to have world class players as teammates, but believes that Neymar's return would be filled with a lot of complications.
In case you didn't know...
Neymar was an integral part of the lethal attacking trio at the Camp Nou, which was colloquially known as MSN.
MSN has scored 250 goals between them, in 299 matches since Suarez joined them in 2014 following his brilliant spell with Liverpool.
During his spell with the LaLiga giants, he won the league title twice, Copa del Rey thrice and was part of the Champions League winning squad in 2015.
The Brazilian was the architect of the biggest comeback in the competition's history when Barcelona defeated his current club, PSG, 6-1, overcoming a 4 goal deficit from the first leg.
He is also the leading Brazilian goalscorer in Champions League history, ahead of legends like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Kaka.
The heart of the matter...
Luis Suarez spoke to Sport following his side's second leg comeback and thrashing of Sevilla 6-1 in the Copa del Rey quarter-final.
And as expected the interviewer asked him what his views were on his former teammate, to which he replied that he misses his company and his departure had left a huge gap to be filled at the club.
He told Sport:
"Of course I miss that but we made the change at that moment, that he wasn't going to be here, and we needed to fill that gap which he left."
He further revealed that his energy and happiness in the dressing room is the one thing that he misses the most about the world's most expensive player. He continued:
"Obviously he was a player that, inside the dressing room, transmitted so much happiness. He was a teammate who always had a smile on his face."
He conceded that he would love to play again with Neymar but understands that the decision will not be easy either for the player or the club.
What's next?
Barcelona have qualified for the semi-finals of Copa del Rey, in which Suarez scored. They'll face arch-rivals Real Madrid next week.
