Barclays launch free bus services for away fans

Premier League fans

Barclays has announced the launch of Barclays buses which will provide free travel facilities for away fans of the English Premier League over the coming three years.

The buses will be inaugurated by the Crystal Palace fans, who will be taken to Anfield ahead of their match against Liverpool in the weekend. The fans will be provided with food, drinks and entertainment along with a surprise guest on board.

“Away fans support is so important, the players count on them, and it makes a massive difference to performance. It’s not always easy to support your team with everyone having so many commitments, so it’s great that Barclays are saying thank you to fans. I am sure those on this trip will be appreciative of being looked after,” said former Palace striker Ian Wright.

As a part of the scheme every club must commit an amount of £200,000 per season for their fans.
