Bayern Munich's medical team criticised by Pep Guardiola
After the semi-final second leg where Atletico Madrid eliminated Bayern Munich from the Champions League, the Bavarian football club's head coach Pep Guardiola lashed out hard against the medical team, the newspaper Bild said on Friday.
"(Diego) Godin recovered quickly at Atletico. Why couldn't you do that? Why do our injuries always take so long," said Guardiola, alluding to the Atletico, who was absent in the first leg for a muscle injury, but led the defense of the Spanish club in Munich.
Guardiola's assistant Manel Estiarte joined the coach's criticism of the medical team, reports Efe citing the paper.

"You cannot say that. You had all the players available to you. Everyone, except (Arjen) Robben and (Holger) Badstuber," a member of the medical team said, chiding Guardiola and Estiarte.
There were reports of a strong and brief altercation that occurred after the match, but veteran winger Franck Ribery intervened to calm things down, said the newspaper.
