Bayern's Tymoshchuk considering his options

Berlin - Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk said Sunday that he is considering offers from a range of European clubs, including from Russia.

The 33-year-old Ukrainian has failed to secure a regular starting place with the Champions League runners-up, though he started that game against Chelsea. He has a year left on his contract Bayern and is thought to be looking to sell him while they can.

“It may be interesting, both options,” said Tymoshchuk when asked about whether he’d prefer to finish his career in Russia or elsewhere.

“Now various offers are coming and after my vacation I will look into all of them and think over it.”

Tymoshchuk, who has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan, played all three of Ukraine’s group games at Euro 2012, which was considered a failure by the country’s football officials expecting to make at least the quarterfinals as co-hosts.

Tymoshchuk joined Bayern in 2009 after helping Zenit St. Petersburg to the 2008 UEFA Cup, and has made 70 appearances in total for the club.

A national team player since 2000, Tymoshchuk has 119 international caps.
