Belgium’s new Adidas home kit

Adidas has revealed Belgium’s new home and away kit ahead of Euro 2016 to be held in France. Belgium go into the tournament as underdogs despite being ranked number two in FIFA’s world rankings. They backed up by an immensely talented squad of players who will be looking for their maiden Euro Cup glory this summer.

The new Belgium home kit incorporates the colours of the Belgium Flag in an eye-catching design. The home shirt is primarily red with a block of black across the chest. The sleeves also bear the black colour of the flag.

Yellow accents run through the sides of the home strip

Fluorescent yellow accents are present on the sides of the shirt in the form of  Adidas’ iconic stripes and at the cuff ends. The Adidas logo on the chest and player names and numbers also bear the Belgium yellow.

The shirt comes in a V-Collar and features the Belgium flag, both on the inside and the outside of the collar.

The jerseys are crafted with ‘Climacool’ technology ensuring the players are cool and dry  when the temperature is rising.

Black shorts with yellow details and red socks with ‘Belgium’ written across it complete the kit.

The Red Devils will wear a stylish away kit inspired by the design of Belgium’s famous cycling jerseys.

The new away shirt is ‘Vapor blue’ with the Belgium Flag colours running across the chest. It is designed to mirror Belgium’s famous cycling kits.

Belgium have a rich history in cycling and has produced world champion and popular riders like Philippe Gilbert, Tom Boonen and Sven Nys. Adidas’ attempt to honour the cycling tradition of the country has led to the production of this wonderful and stylish away kit.

A simple crew neck collar with the Belgium flag on it matches well with black shorts and socks.

Belgium go into The Euros as World #2 and the highest ranked European side. Marc Wilmot’s men, however, have failed to rise to the big occasions, with Eden hazard yet to show his class for the national team. They will be aiming to put all the promise that the team offers in one place and win the coveted trophy for the first time.
