Biting controvesy - Mike Tyson backs Luis Suarez

Retired professional boxer, American Mike Tyson came in emphatic support of Uruguay international Luis Suarez in the light of the biting incident that currently puts him in the midst of controversy.

Mike Tyson, who was in a similar controversy years ago after biting Evander Holyfield’s ear in a WBA heavyweight title fight in 1997, said, “Suarez bit someone, it happens. I am sure he will make amends with this guy. I made amends with Evander and we got on with our lives.”

He also added, “I saw this guy on the Twitter thing and thought I would check it out and see what his journey was all about.”

Tyson believes that such things happen in the heat of the moment in the game and will eventually be resolved. He thinks that the two players will eventually move on from this incident.
