Borussia Dortmund & Hertha Berlin take knee before Bundesliga clash
Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin took a knee in protest at racial injustice and police brutality prior to their Bundesliga clash on Saturday.
The death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota last week has led to widespread protests across the United States and the rest of the world.
Sports stars have played a prominent role in calling for change and supporting the Black Lives Matter movement, with Dortmund's Jadon Sancho last week revealing a 'Justice for George Floyd' t-shirt after scoring against Paderborn.
In warming up for the game with Hertha, Dortmund wore shirts adorned with messages calling for justice and supporting racial equality.

Moments before kick-off at Signal Iduna Park, both sets of players dropped to a knee around the centre circle, with the respective coaching teams doing so in the dugouts.
The actions of Dortmund and Hertha follow Bayern Munich wearing black armbands reading "black lives matter" against Bayer Leverkusen, who also wore black armbands in a 4-2 home defeat.
