Borussia Monchengladbach wants to have permanent transfer deal for Thorgan Hazard from Chelsea

Borussia Monchengladbach are in talks with Chelsea to make Thorgan Hazard's loan in Germany into a permanent transfer deal. Thorgan Hazard, who is the younger brother of Chelsea star Eden is presently on a one season loan to the German club. 

Permanent deal wanted for Hazard by Gladbach

It is reported by espnfc that the attacking midfielder has revealed that it was still not the right time to talk about his future at the club and the move will happen only by the end of the season, but Max Eberl, the sporting director of Gladbach has stated that discussions are already being done about the future of the 21-year-old with Chelsea. The Bundesliga club have expressed their willingness to keep the youngster beyond the loan deal which expires in the summer.

Eberl told Sports Bild:

"Thorgan's development has been exemplary,"

 "He needed some time at first, and we allowed him that. Now he is getting better all the time. He added.

"I hope that we sign the player on a permanent deal. We are constantly talking to Chelsea."

Borussia Monchengladbach, who were called “the best shoppers in Germany” by kicker, football magazine for two years straight are also happy to negotiate an extension of the loan by one or two years.

"There are several options, and we will discuss all that soon," Eberl said.

Want to stay at Monchengladbach: Thorgan Hazard

The younger Hazard joined Chelsea in 2012 from Lens, a French club and then played on loan for two years with his home team Zulte-Waregem in Belgium. The 21-year-old was transferred to Gladbach at the beginning of the season and has played 25 games for the German club scoring four goals and providing six assists.

The Belgian international footballer has also shown his desire to carry on playing for his current club under coach Lucien Favre, who has already helped the Borussia Park based team to a fourth place in the Bundesliga so far and also reached the knockout round in the Europa League.

"I am at a top club, and feel great here," he told the media.

"I can learn a lot under Lucien Favre. It's certainly an option to stay at Gladbach for a longer time."

Chelsea strengthened its monetary funds with the permanent transfers of Belgian internationals Romelu Lukaku to Everton and Kevin De Bruyne to Wolfsburg in the summer.
