Brazil 3-2 Chile: Individual penalty highlights in GIFs
After being tied 1-1 at the end of extra time, Brazil and Chile needed a penalty shootout to separate both the sides so as to determine who advances to the World Cup quarterfinals. It was ultimately the host nation, Brazil, who emerged victorious after beating Chile in a 3-2 penalty shootout win.
Barcelona’s Neymar might have scored the goal that decided the outcome of the match, but it was goalkeeper Julio Cesar who saved two penalty kicks.

David Luiz (Brazil)
Chelsea defender David Luiz took the first shot, and successfully put in into the left side of the post. Brazil 1-0 Chile.
Mauricio Pinilla (Chile)
Taking the first spot kick for Chile, Mauricio Pinilla's shot down the middle of the post was saved by Julio Cesar. Brazil 1-0 Chile.
Willian (Brazil)
Willian took the second spot kick for Brazil, and as he looked nervous, he squanders a shot wide to the left side of the net. Brazil 1-0 Chile.
Alexis Sanchez (Chile)
Julio Cesar was succesful in saving yet another shot, and this time it was none other than Alexis Sanchez’s shot on the right side. Brazil 1-0 Chile.
Marcelo (Brazil)
Real Madrid’s left-back Marcelo put the ball into the net comfortably as he scored the second for Brazil. Brazil 2-0 Chile.
Charles Aránguiz (Chile)
Chilean midfielder Charles Aránguiz made sure no more chances were being wasted as he stuck in the first goal for Chile as goalkeeper Julio Cesar watched. Brazil 2-1 Chile.
Hulk (Brazil)
The most interesting one of the lot as Claudio Bravo was successful in deceiving Hulk by pointing him where to hit the shot. At the end, Hulk went the other way, and so did Bravo. Brazil 2-1 Chile.
Marcelo Diaz (Chile)
Marcelo Diaz scored the second goal for Chile, equalising the score. Brazil 2-2 Chile.
Neymar (Brazil)
Neymar, who had everyone’s attention at the moment, lived up to his reputation as he delivered a well composed shot to the left. Brazil 3-2 Chile.
Gonzalo Jara (Chile)
Gonzalo Jara hits the bar with his shot, thus sealing the match for Brazil who will now move on to the quarterfinals. Brazil 3-2 Chile.
