Online gaming company Bwin.party has announced a three-year partnership with Olympique de Marseille.

Bwin announced last month that they had also agreed partnership deals with Juventus and Anderlecht while it has reduced its partnership role at Real Madrid from shirt sponsors to a lower level.

These recent deals improve Bwin’s impressive football portfolio, which already includes partnership deals with global giants Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

The deal makes Bwin the official online betting and gaming partner of the south French club and the sponsorship package will offer fans opportunities to travel with the squad and travel to UEFA Champions League matches.

Marseille and Bwin will develop online and conventional co-branded activities and are expected to collaborate on mobile phone apps and social games. Bwin will enjoy access to l’OM players for advertising campaigns, integration into the Ligue 1 outfit’s social media and online platform as well as stadium branding.

Norbert Teufelberger, CEO of Bwin, said: “We are proud to establish this partnership with Olympique de Marseille, one of the oldest and most successful clubs in France and Europe. Today’s announcement means that we are now partnered with six of the greatest clubs in European football, enabling us to offer our customers an unparalleled range of online and real world offers.”

Philippe Perez, general manager of Olympique de Marseille, added: “With Bwin, we’re also playing in the Champions League in terms of partnerships. In the fast evolving French championship, ‘l’OM’ continues to be the most popular club in France. This sponsorship deal proves it.”
