Cameroon and Zimbabwe lock horns in Yaounde on Tuesday for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Both teams have sealed their place in next year's showpiece but the fight is now on to win the group.

They are separated by just two points in the table, with Cameroon on 11 and Zimbabwe on nine. A draw would be enough for the Indomitable Lions to finish as Group J winners, but a loss would mean the Warriors leapfrog them into first place.

Interestingly, they are also coming off the back of an identical result, as both of them drew their last qualifier game. While the Cameroonians were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Namibia, their opponents were pegged back in a 1-1 draw with Kenya.

However, neither of those results mattered much, as both teams earned their tickets to the Moroccan showpiece, ousting Kenya and Namibia.

Ranked 59th in the world, Cameroon are one of the most successful teams in AFCON history, having qualified for the showpiece 21 times and won the trophy five times.

Although it hasn't been their most stellar qualifying campaign, they managed regardless due to their stoic backline, having conceded just once in five games of the round thus far.

As for Zimbabwe, they are set to make their sixth appearance in the competition.
