Carlo Ancelotti appointed Real Madrid boss; PSG go for Laurent Blanc
Carlo Ancelotti has been announced as Real Madrid’s new manager, succeeding Jose Mourinho, on a three-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Italian, who formerly worked with Juventus, AC Milan and Chelsea, managed Paris Saint Germain last season, guiding them to their first Ligue 1 title in 19 years.
The Spanish giants, under Ancelotti, will be bidding for the La Liga title, after they finished second to Barcelona last year.
Mourinho has now moved on to EPL giants Chelsea, while Laurent Blanc has been appointed as the new manager at PSG, on a one-year contract along with an option to add one more year, depending on the results.
