Chelsea maintained their place at the top of the Premier League table, winning 1-0 against Everton at Stamford Bridge. A late Frank Lampard free kick was deflected in by Everton keeper Tim Howard, extending Chelsea’s unbeaten run to 11 league games.

Petr Cech (48): Relatively untroubled, facing just two shots on target.

Branislav Ivanovic (61): The Serb won five headed duels, made three interceptions and put in four crosses.

Gary Cahill (63): A rock at the back, Cahill won all nine of the headed duels that he contested and also made 11 clearances.

John Terry (51): Influential in the winning goal, Terry misplaced just one pass over the entire game.

Cesar Azpilicueta (10):  Azpilicueta made three tackles, from eight attempts.

Nemanja Matic (40): Matic made both more passes (46) and more interceptions (5) than any other Chelsea player.

Frank Lampard (55): The England midfielder put in a great ball for the winning goal, one of eight crosses, but made just 69% of his attempted passes; largely due to a high number of attempted long balls forward.

Willian (23): The Brazilian unleashed four shots on goal and completed 91% of his passes, misplacing just two.

Oscar (-18): Withdrawn at half time having made just 13 passes, Oscar was successful in just one of three attempted tackles and also committed two fouls during a sluggish first half performance.

Eden Hazard (33): Hazard created five chances for Chelsea, more than any other player on the pitch.

Samuel  Eto’o (-12): Eto’o made just 12 passes over the course of the game, although he did create chances with two of those.

Substitutes:

Ramires (10): Ramires ended the game with 100% tackle, take on and headed duels success, winning two tackles, two take ons and two headed duels

Fernando Torres (-11): Completing just five of his nine passes, Torres ended the game with a 56% pass accuracy.

Andre Schürrle (-10): Brought on to provide the attacking spark, Schurrle missed the target with both of his shots on goal.
