=Tottenham Hotspur finally put an end to their poor run of results at Stamford Bridge with a 3-1 win over London rivals Chelsea on Sunday. Mauricio Pochettino's men showed great temperament to complete the comeback in the second half after Alvaro Morata had earlier put the hosts ahead in the 30th minute with a towering header.

Christian Eriksen's stunning strike right at the stroke of half-time ensured that the teams headed into the break all square. Tottenham gathered the momentum in the second half and put the game to bed when Dele Alli scored twice in the space of 4 minutes.

The result now means that Chelsea are currently eight points away from the final Champions League qualification spot, occupied by Spurs with just 7 more games to play. Without further delay, let's take a closer look at how the players from both sides fared during the game:

Hugo Lloris - 6/10

The Frenchman was forced into making a couple of good saves in the first half before he made an erratic decision to try and claim Moses' cross and ended up missing it, providing the perfect opportunity for Morata to pounce on. Lloris was largely untroubled in the second half.

Kieran Trippier - 7/10

Trippier worked effectively down the right flank for Spurs on the night and showcased his attacking potential yet again with some excellent delivery into the area. The defender was equally good at the back, managing to keep Eden Hazard quiet for the majority of the game.

Davinson Sanchez - 8/10

The Colombian was a real rock at the back for the visitors and excelled due to his awareness and impeccable reading of the game. Sanchez was comfortable on the ball and if recent form is anything to go by, Alderweireld might have a hard time taking his spot back.

Jan Vertonghen - 8/10

Vertonghen looked imperious at the back for Spurs alongside Sanchez and hardly put a foot wrong during the game. The Belgian made a number of crucial last-gasp tackles to keep Spurs in the tie and was one certainly one of their best players on the night.

Ben Davies - 7/10

Chelsea's opening goal came down his side after he was caught napping by a diagonal ball from Rudiger to Moses in the first half. However, Davies showed plenty of grit in response and the hosts rarely enjoyed anything down that side since then.

Eric Dier - 8/10

Dier played his role to perfection in the middle of the park and was not reluctant to drop down and help his defenders whenever required. The Englishman's sublime pass to Alli for Spurs' second goal on the night proved that he is indeed an invaluable asset for both club and country.

Mousa Dembele - 7/10

The Belgian was not at his usual best on the night and produced a few sloppy passes in the first half. Despite the slow start, Dembele showed physicality in midfield that helped Spurs dominate the proceedings in the middle.

Erik Lamela - 7/10

Lamela might have been a little lucky to have escaped a sending off after replays suggested that he could have been given the marching orders for a couple of silly challenges. However, he was a real nuisance for Chelsea and he never stopped running until he was replaced by Sissoko in the dying stages.

Dele Alli - 9/10

Alli responded to his critics in style after single-handedly helping Spurs to their first ever win at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League era. The Englishman's involvement was clearly evident in all of Spurs' three goals on the night as he produced yet another match-winning performance.

Christian Eriksen - 8/10

The Dane acted as the creator in chief for Spurs and looked the likeliest to score after he had troubled Caballero with a shot from distance just before that thunderous 87mph strike that dipped just in time to find the back of the net, to provide Spurs with the equaliser. Eriksen was also involved in initiating Spurs' third goal after he produced a first-time pass to release Son.

Son Heung-Min - 7/10

Kane's absence meant that Son was the obvious choice to start up front for Spurs and the South Korean worked tirelessly both centrally and by drifting wide whenever required. Son played a crucial role in Alli's second goal with a menacing run.

Substitutes

Harry Kane - 6/10

The striker returned to action in the final 15 minutes of the game when he replaced Son in the 74th minute. Kane showed great strength to hold the ball, helping his teammates get more involved in the game.

Victor Wanyama - N/A

Wanyama replaced Dier in the 81st minute and did well to see off the game.

Moussa Sissoko - N/A

Came on for Lamela in the 88th minute.
