What's the story?
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has heaped praise on talisman Eden Hazard, stating that the Belgian forward gets bored in training because everything is too easy for him.
In case you didn't know...
Eden Hazard has proven himself to be one of the best players in the Premier League and he recently won the PFA Fans' Player of the year award for his stellar campaign. Following his brilliant exploits in the 2018/19 EPL campaign, Hazard beat Manchester City and LIverpool stars to win the award.
The Belgian forward racked up 16 goals and 15 assists in the Premier League, helping the Blues to a top-four finish. Hazard directly contributed to more goals than any other player in the division. The 28-year-old also played a pivotal role to help Chelsea reach the finals of Carabao Cup and the Europa League.
While the Blues already lost to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final, they are set to play against Premier League rivals Arsenal in the Europa League final. Hazard will be entering his last year of contract in the upcoming season and he is yet to renew his contract amid rumours linking him to a move away from the club..
The heart of the matter
The Chelsea boss has hailed his team's talisman, claiming that everything is too easy for a player of Hazard's caliber in training.
Speaking in an interview, Sarri said:
"HazardĀ is a pleasure during the game, but sometimes during the week he is a problem as he is very talented and gets bored in training because everything is easy."
"Right now, Eden is one of the most important players in Europe and in the world. I think he can improve, and he has to try to become the best in Europe."
What's next?
Chelsea take on Arsenal later tonight in the Europa League finals. Hazard is set to start in what could be his last game for the Blues.
