Chelsea Transfer Rumour: Nemanja Matic fuels rumours after being spotted In Milan with agent
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic’s presence in Milan with his agent Giuseppe Riso has fuelled rumours regarding his move out of the Blues. Reports from Italy claim that Matic could be looking for a move to Italy after the player was snapped trying on clothes in Milan alongside his agent.
The picture of Matic at Milan has started speculations regarding the player’s future at Chelsea, with AC Milan being an interested suitor for the player. The Serbian midfielder was also a target for Serie-A champions Juventus in the summer, although he stayed put at Chelsea.
Matic was also linked with a move to Manchester United earlier this summer, with reports claiming that Jose Mourinho was planning on a raid on his former club after signing up as manager at Old Trafford. Antonio Conte, however, is said to have convinced the player to stay at Chelsea for another season.

Matic re-joined Chelsea in January 2014 from Benfica, whom he had joined from the Blues in January 2011, as a part of a swap deal involving David Luiz’s transfer to the Bridge. He signed for a move back to the Blues on a five and a half year contract in a deal worth £21m.
Initially, it was Chelsea who brought the young Serbian into the limelight after signing him from Slovakian outfit MFK Kosice, at the age of 21 back in 2009. Although deemed to be surplus to requirements by the then manager Carlo Ancelotti, he moved back to Chelsea from Benfica under Mourinho in 2011. Considered to be a complete midfielder, Matic went on to become an important part of the Portuguese manager’s squad during Chelsea’s run to the Premier League title in 2014/15.
Matic has been a full Serbian international since 2008 and has earned over 25 international caps for his nation.
The 28-year-old has featured in all seven of Chelsea’s Premier League matches under Antonio Conte this season and very few would imagine his future at the Blues to be uncertain. However, his snap with his agent in Milan has started a round of speculation claiming that the player may be working on a move to Italy.
Moreover, Chelsea fans are delighted with the Serbian’s potential move out of the Blues and are looking forward to a possible move for Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci. One cannot blame the Blues’ faithful considering Matic’s absolute dip in form last season, which left the club in shambles.
