World Club Rankings: Chinese football club overtakes Milan sides, 3 EPL and Bundesliga clubs in Top 10
London, March 25 (IANS) Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande is ranked above two Italian Serie A powerhouses, Inter Milan and AC Milan, in the world football club rankings, according to the latest release from footballdatabase.com, a specialised statistics website.
As the top ranked club in Asian leagues and 2014 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League winners, Evergrande slipped one place to 63 in the overall rankings from last edition, but remain in front of Inter's 64 and AC Milan's 69, reports Xinhua.
Spanish club FC Barcelona still leads the world rankings, followed by its La Liga arch-rivals Real Madrid with the German Bundesliga record champions Bayern Munich in third place.
In the Asian rankings, Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal and South Korea's Jeonbuk FC exchanged positions as Al Hilal moved up to the second place, beating South Korea's K-League champions to third.
