Closing Ceremony of Hero Indian Super League to celebrate Indian Football in style

The whole country awaits for the Indian Super League final between Kerala Blasters and Atletico de Kolkata.

Mumbai, 19th December 2014 - The Hero Indian Super League, India’s indigenous football league that provided fans with 9 weeks of non-stop, high-voltage football action is set for an extravagant closing on 20th December 2014.

With fireworks and performances by 100 snare drummers, in addition to the well synchronised performance by 50 Chinese acrobats, the closing ceremony will have the fans enthralled. Furthermore, 50 freestyle footballers demonstrating well-orchestrated moves promises to offer a visual treat to the in-stadia fans as well as those tuned-in on television and over the online platform.

The ceremony will be followed by an action packed ‘Finals’ being played between two formidable ISL teams, Kerala Blasters FC and Atlético de Kolkata, to determine the first-ever Hero ISL champion team that would lift the coveted trophy. The stadium will be packed by the supporters as the tickets have been sold out completely.

Post the match, a number of awards will be handed out to players and teams at the felicitation ceremony including: ‘Muthoot Group Fair Play Award’, ‘Manyavar Rang Jama De Most Exciting Player of the League’, ‘Amul Fittest Player of the Season’ and ‘Nise Player of the League’ award. Other awards to be given out will include the ‘Golden Glove Award’, ‘Alto K10 Golden Boot Award’, ‘Emerging Player of the League’ and the ‘Hero of the League’ (Golden Ball).
