Club's brilliant response to Wolves fan after complaints about official jersey
Talk about a great response: A Wolverhampton Wanderers fan has been offered a match-day ticket and a chance to meet the club players before Wolve’s match against Shrewsbury on March 15.
Apparently, Richard Gough, the Wolverhampton Wanderers fan had ordered a Wolves shirt from the club’s website, but the shirt that he received was defective as the club badge was printed upside-down.
Angered Gough then took to twitter to express his discontent about the shirt.
@OfficialWolves my new shirt just delivered…..can you see the error? Is this why theyre 12quid at moment? Shite pic.twitter.com/ZebRRpm5sc

The club’s response however, was very surprising as they offered Gough a ticket to game and also a chance to meet the Wolves players in the team locker room.
They sent him an official letter, which ironically was upside-down as well!
@richard_j_gough Please accept our apologies and see attached letter….. http://t.co/G0ExlD7RYY

The letter read:
Dear Richard,
I’m very sorry to hear you’ve received a shirt with an upside down badge on it.
Although we’ve been riding the crest of a wave recently, in terms of results, we pride ourselves on the quality of our shirts and we certainly don’t get a badge of honour on this occasion.
That said, the world can sometimes look better upside down – last year’s League table being just one example.
Please accept our apologies, along with a ticket (printed the right way up) to our home game versus Shrewsbury on the 15th March. We’ll also take you into the dressing room to meet the players before the match, where you can get both shirts signed.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
Best regards
Matt Grayson
