Comparison between Ronaldo and Mirsolav Klose's World Cup goals
Germany striker Miroslav Klose equalled the 15-goals record set by retired Brazillian legend Ronaldo after he was successful in finding the net during Germany’s 2-2 draw against Ghana.
All it took was a one-touch and 112 seconds for the Lazio striker who was introduced as a 69th-minute substitute, giving Germany their much needed equaliser, and now stands as the joint top scorer in World Cup history.
He also became the third player to have scored at four World Cups, five goals at the 2002 World Cup, five again four years later in Germany, four in the 2010 edition and one in this ongoing tournament., joining the ranks of former German footballer Uwe Seeler and three-time World Cup winner Pele.
Ronaldo, who had scored across three editions of the tournament, took to Twitter to congratulate the 36-year-old striker on equalling his record.

Following the match, Klose said, "I don't know how long it's been since I did a somersault. But at least it worked out. You come in and want to turn the game around. Twenty [World Cup] matches and 15 goals isn't bad at all."
