Could Chelsea really sign Luis Suarez?

Luis Suarez is a fantastically gifted player but he is also a controversial human being that only the fans of the team he plays for can love.

One of the latest rumours is that Jose Mourinho has Luis Suarez as number two on his striker wish list. With the Cavani saga dragging on, if the speculation is to be believed, then we will soon see Chelsea chasing his signature.

There is no doubting he would be a good signing based solely on his talent, he has a good goal scoring record and would be a nightmare for opposition defenders.

That being said, he has an arrogance and attitude problem that attracts him to trouble, and has shown ingratitude to his current employers who have stood by him through racism, biting and the long term suspensions they have created.

Could it really happen

Signing Luis Suarez would leave me conflicted. I do not like him and he has cost us in the past, but if he was to play in Blue he would be an asset.

Liverpool selling to Chelsea seems unlikely, particularly given Suarez complaining about the press and life in England.

Annoying Liverpool

One of the advantages of signing Suarez would be how much it would anger the Liverpool fans -this has to be worth a few million on his price tag alone.

I think he would not struggle in the same way Torres has, and would delight in scoring against a former team.
