Cristiano Ronaldo news: Juventus star equals incredible club Serie A record
What's the story?
The records just keep on tumbling for Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo as the Portuguese has now equalled a record that has not been matched at the club since 1958.
In case you didn't know...
The Serie A table-toppers extended their lead at the top of Serie A to 14 points with a convincing 3-0 win over Frosinone last night.
Ronaldo registered a goal and an assist for his side, proving once again that he is an integral and indispensable part of the team.
The 34-year-old helped Paulo Dybala break his goalless run with an assist early in the first half of the game. Leonardo Bonucci then doubled the lead over ten minutes later. Ronaldo's second-half goal all but sealed a routine win for the Bianconeri.
Allegri was full of praise for his team telling the official club website, "Yes, we are in a good condition. Apart from the setback against Parma we are doing well, and we are at a particularly important moment. The team’s effort has been good and from the individuals."

The heart of the matter
Ronaldo's goal marks his 19th in the Serie A, thereby helping him equal a record previously set in 1958 by Wales legend John Charles.
The Welshman achieved the feat in the 1957-58 season, when he went on to become the top-scorer in the Serie A at the end of that season, with a staggering 28 league goals to his name.
According to Calciomercato, the Portuguese talisman is only the second player in the history of Juventus to score 19 goals in his first 24 appearances.
Last November, Ronaldo equalled another one of Charles' records at the club, becoming only the second player to score seven goals in his opening 10 league games at Turin.
What's next?
Juventus will now turn their attention to the Champions League where they are scheduled to face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
