A household name on the lip of every football fan across Europe, Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to make name for himself with his explosive performances in the Serie A following his move from Real Madrid to Juventus during the summer. 

The attacker celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday, yet he is showing no signs of slowing down, having recorded an amazing 18 goals and 9 assists to his name in 29 appearances for the Italian champions across all competitions so far this season.

Cristiano Ronaldo isn't new to breaking and setting records for himself in the UEFA Champions League. The attacker dominated the European tournament during the past few years and set plenty of records, but the one he achieved during the 2013/2014 campaign helped to put his name into the Guinness Book.

That season, Ronaldo was at his incredible best, starting his European outing with a wonderful hat-trick against Galatasaray FC before firing a brace past FC Copenhagen in his second game. By the end of the group stage, he already had 9 goals to his name.

He continued with his incredible goalscoring form even in the knockout stages, scoring against the likes of Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich as well as Atletico Madrid in the final, as he led Real Madrid to claim the European Cup.

Ronaldo finished the campaign with a massive 17 Champions League goals to his name - a feat that entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
