Cristiano Ronaldo v IShowSpeed: YouTube creator made to race with Al-Nassr superstar to determine winner of AI-generated 100m sprint
Al-Nassr's legendary Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo was pitted against YouTube creator IShowSpeed in a virtual race. The AI-generated race showed the iconic footballer triumphing over his big fan.
The American content creator has been a vocal fan of the Los Blancos legend and will be excited to face his hero, even if it is just virtually.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the biggest star of the Saudi Pro League. The striker has scored 50 goals and set up 14 in 56 appearances since he joined them for free in 2023. IShowSpeed has often gone to watch his icon play and has an impressive physique himself.
IShowSpeed beat fellow YouTube Content creator KSI in a 100-meter footrace, which he completed in 12.80 seconds. However,it will be a much tougher challenge to race against his icon, who has maintained a peerless physique in his late 30s.
At 39 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo has maintained his pace, power, and impressive vertical leap. The Portuguese legend was said to be able to complete a 100-meter course in 11.15 seconds.
These two timings were considered by the video makers and Ronaldo shown sprinting away from the YouTuber.
Motion Athlete, the company responsible for the hypothetical situation has made other videos comparing speeds between rapid people and did not begin with Ronaldo and the YouTube creator.
They previously created a fictional face-off between Olympic champion and world record holder Usain Bolt, and another Cristiano Ronaldo fan Kylian Mbappe.
IShowSpeed's hero Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Al-Nassr lineup after suspension
YouTube creator IShowSpeed would have been glad to see his hero Cristiano Ronaldo take the pitch again after his suspension for a red card against Al-Hilal. The Portuguese legend returned for Al-Nassr in their tie against mid-table side Al Khaleej but was unable to mark his return with a goal.
Ronaldo was sent off against the table toppers for elbowing an opponent, however, his side found a way to win even without their talisman.
Former Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte scored the sole goal in the game to end the month in winning fashion for Al-Nassr. The Portuguese legend will be keen to shine in the Saudi club's next game where they take on the same opponents in the King's Cup.
Ronaldo and his fans will hope he can continue to add to his impressive goal tally in that match as well and lead his team to the final.
