Neymar has reportedly fallen out with assistant coach Unzue

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's latest transfer news and rumours roundup. Today's stories feature the latest update on Barcelona's new manager and much more. On that note, let's take a look at the major happenings across Europe that made the headlines on May 8, 2017.

Neymar may have an impact on Barcelona’s next managerial appointment

The club hierarchy have reportedly arrived at the decision of giving Luis Enrique's assistant coach Unzue the responsibility of managing the Catalans from the next season. But that might need to be revisited after Mundo Deportivo ran a story reporting that Neymar has fallen out with Unzue in one of the training session in recent days.

It is being said that the spat happened between the two last Thursday and the duo has not spoken with each other since. Earlier in the season, it came out that Unzue also had an altercation with Ivan Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti in an open training session.

The player power is on the rise these days as Barcelona must think twice before appointing a manager against the wish of the players.

The AS Roma duo are on Chelsea’s priority list

After all but securing the Premier League title, Antonio Conte has turned his attention to improving the quality of the squad by signing world-class players in the summer. He is set to target two AS Roma players for whom the Blues are ready to pay £70 million.

Goal report that Chelsea want want Radja Nainggolan after they missed out on him last summer. They also want centre-back Antonio Rudiger as a potential replacement for John Terry after failing in their pursuit of Napoli's Kalidou Koulibaly and Juventus' Leonardo Bonucci.

Balotelli might be on his way to Spain soon

The mercurial striker has been in great form in front of goal for Ligue 1 side Nice this season but his usual antics have meant that there is a possibility of the French club not extending his contract for another year.

He will be out of contract in July and COPE report that Las Palmas are interested in taking Balotelli on board for one season. The Spanish side have done well in the league campaign and want to have a big name in their ranks to lure more players to the sunny city of Las Palmas. report that Las Palmas are interested in taking Balotelli on board for one season. The Spaniard has scored 20 goals this season

Diario Gol report that Chelsea have struck a deal with Alvaro Morata's agent as the personal terms are agreed with the player and his agency. The only thing remaining is the agreement over a transfer fee with Real Madrid which won't be much of an issue as the player himself wants to leave the club desperately.

Despite scoring 20 goals this season, Morata has not been able to nail down a starting berth which has seen him getting disillusioned. He has a brilliant relationship with Antonio Conte and will soon reunite with his former Juventus manager.

A host of Premier League clubs want Jordan Pickford

Sunderland will have to part ways with the talented goalkeeper and the local lad, Jordan Pickford in the summer. He has been their best player in a horrible season for the Black Cats but despite being one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, Pickford could not save Sunderland from relegation.

His good run has not gone unnoticed with the likes of Arsenal, West Ham United, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all interested in the talented custodian. The Telegraph report that Sunderland might be forced to sell their valuable asset as a bid of close to £25 million might be too good to turn down.
