FC Barcelona set to move for Chelsea's in-form defender
The Blues recently won the Premier League title and Marcos Alonso - the brilliant summer signing has been a crucial aspect of Antonio Conte's title winning squad. The left back has been a revelation for Chelsea and has caught the attention of FC Barcelona.
The Catalans want a replacement for Jordi Alba who is ready to leave Camp Nou after the end of this month. Alonso won't come cheap but Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are ready to spend big on the defender and are ready to convince Alonso that a move back to Spain will guarantee him a spot in Spain's 2019 World Cup squad.
Real Madrid superstar reaches a verbal agreement with Manchester United
Despite just 12 starts in La Liga this season, James Rodriguez has scored eight goals and given six assists this season. He still has not been able to pin down a starting berth for Real Madrid which has made it clear for the player and his agent, Jorge Mendes to look for another club in the summer.
RCN radio claim that Rodriguez has reached a verbal agreement with the Red Devils and has agreed to personal terms with the Premier League club. A fee is yet to be decided with the radio channel also claiming that James will be offered the number 10 shirt at Manchester United after selling Wayne Rooney in the summer.
Liverpool close to signing the next Ronaldinho
The Reds have been scouting Gremio's 24-year-old Luan for the past one year who has been dubbed as the next Ronaldinho in his native Brazil. He helped Brazil win the Olympics gold medal last year and is a household name back in South America.
Daily Mirror reports that Liverpool officials and the player's agent met in London a few weeks back as a deal worth £24 million is reportedly close to being agreed upon. Luan has just one year left on his current deal and rejected an extension last month.
Bayern Munich's summer plans revealed
With a dream of winning the Champions League next season, Carlo Ancelotti wants more star power in his first team squad to compete at the highest level against FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. German publication, Bild has reported that the Bavarians want to spend £120 million on securing the services of Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Paris Saint Germain's Marco Veratti.
Sanchez is desperate to leave Arsenal in the summer whereas Veratti has a good relationship with Ancelotti which might make the duo sign for the foreseeable future at the Allianz Arena.
