Zlatan will play for Man United next season

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that the club is working on a deal to extend Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract. Zlatan is currently on a one-year deal. However, Mourinho confirmed in his press conference earlier today that United are happy with the Swedish striker and will indeed exercise the option of extending his stay at Old Trafford.

Debuchy eager to seal his Arsenal exit

Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy will certainly force his way out of the club in January after Arsene Wenger has overlooked him in the absence of Hector Bellerin. Daily Mirror reported a story earlier today claiming Debuchy will leave Premier League and find a club in Ligue 1 to revitalise his club and international career. Carl Jenkinson has stepped up as the number 2 option for Arsenal during the time Bellerin is out injured.

Torino have named Belotti’s asking price

Trino has slapped a whopping £80million price on the young striker Andrea Belotti, who has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, according to Calciomercato. As per the reports, Gunners are said to be tracking the 22-year-old, who has scored 13 goals in 15 games for club and country so far this season. Belotti is also nearing a contract extension with Torino which is cited as the real reason for the £80million price tag for the striker.

Southampton are leading the race to sign Daniel Sturridge in January after Jurgen Klopp has given the green light to the sale of England international. According to Daily Mirror, Saints will initially sign Sturridge on loan in January followed by a £25million transfer next summer. Former Chelsea striker has failed to find a place in Klopp's starting XI and is all set to be shown the door in January.

Chelsea favourites to sign new Ibrahimovic

As per the latest reports from ESPN, Chelsea have emerged as the new favourites to sign sought-after AIK forward Alexander Isak. The 17-year-old has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Europe this season and has already been heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus in recent weeks. 

Although PSG and Juventus are in talks with the striker, a source close to ESPN came out and said: “Inside the club, Chelsea are the favourites and have already proposed €11m (£9.4m).”

Mattia Caldara sparks transfer war between Premier League giants

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are in the race for Atalanta defender Mattia Caldara, according to reports from Gazzetta dello Sports. Caldara made his Atlanta debut back in 2013 and has established himself as one of the most consistent players in Serie A. Premier League elites are in dire need of a quality defender and Caldara’s £20million valuation has got them interested in making a January bid for the 22-year-old.
