Meanwhile, according to Cadena SER in Spain, Jose Mourinho has reacted to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's injury woes by calling up Alvaro Morata regarding a possible transfer to Old Trafford.
The Real Madrid striker is believed to be on Mourinho's wishlist and he has made a move to sign the player from Los Blancos. And Don Balon reports that James Rodriguez has fallen out with Zinedine Zidane and has made up his mind to join Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. United have been interested in Real’s duo James Rodriguez and Morata for a while now and a deal could go through if reports from the French and Spanish papers are to be believed.
Real Madrid preparing huge Mbappe bid
As we had reported in our earlier round up on 22nd April, Real Madrid are eyeing a big name “Galactico” signing this summer with the impending elections at the Bernabeu. Le’Equipe have now confirmed the target as none other than Monaco’s hotshot Kylian Mbappe.
According to the French outlet, Real are preparing a massive €100 million bid for the French youngster in order to improve their goalscoring threat with Cristiano Ronaldo regressing slightly this season. Mbappe has scored 22 goals for Monaco on their way to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals and is in high demand across Europe.
Mourinho will not halt David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid
Sticking with Real Madrid, Zidane is in the market for a goalkeeper and David De Gea tops his wish list in the position. De Gea has been linked with Real Madrid for a few seasons now and according to reports from Marca, Jose Mourinho will not stop any players from leaving the Old Trafford outfit this season.
This includes De Gea, Ander Herrera, Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Wenger confident of news deals for Alexis Sanchez deal and Oxdale Chamberlain
Arsene Wenger has spoken about the future of the club’s star player Alexis Sanchez. While speaking to Sky Sports he said, “I personally think he will stay and sign. First of all, he is happy here, his desire is to stay, that is what I deeply believe,"
“I don't think you would sell him to any Premier League club, that is for sure. The question is why would you sell him to another club? You want to be as strong as you can be and not strengthen the other teams.”
“But as I have said, I think he will stay and sign a contract. Both parties have the desire to find an agreement so I think it will happen.” the French boss added
While the Daily Mirror reports that Alex Oxdale Chamberlain is set for a £100,000 a week deal and could be persuaded to extend his stay at the Emirates at the end of the season.
