The 17-year-old defender has caught the eye with a series of assured performances and was watched by Everton against Celtic on Saturday with Roberto Martinez keen on driving through a deal. West Ham, who have failed to score in six out of their 10 Premier League games this season, are preparing a bid for Chelsea striker Demba Ba. Since Jose Mourinho’s arrival at the club, Ba has made only five appearances and clubs are looking to offer the striker a way out of Stamford Bridge. (Fox Sports)
Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan is being targeted by Arsenal. The Gunners squad already boasts of having a large German contingent in the likes of Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Serge Gnabry, and Arsene Wenger hopes that could be used to sway Gundogan their way. Stoke, Hull, Sunderland and Crystal Palace have all been linked with a move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner in the January transfer window.
