Chelsea have been put on alert as Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Wayne Rooney in the summer if they secure Champions League qualification(DailyStar). Rooney’s contract ends in June 2015 and the club still haven’t opened talks for a new deal with the player.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona are in a three horse race to secure the signature of highly rated Athletic Bilbao centre-back Aymeric Laporte(TalkSport). The player himself is a Barcelona fan however and has stated that it would be a dream to play for the Catalan giants.

Bayern Munich are considering a swoop for Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky(SportsDirectNews). The Czech international’s contract runs out at the end of the current season.

Sevilla have rejected an offer from Napoli for young left-back Alberto Moreno(InsideFutbol). The Italian club had an offer of €13 million for the Spaniard who has a release clause of €30 million. The club are also believed to have rejected a €12 million bid for the player from Manchester United.

Lazio have told Liverpool it will take an “indecent offer” to sign Brazilian midfielder Hernanes (OffThePost). Liverpool are expected to make a £15 million bid for the midfielder in the January window but Napoli have made it clear that it will take much more than that sum to lure the player to Anfield.

Manchester United boss David Moyes will travel to Germany to scout Borussia Monchengladbach duo Max Kruse and Patrick Herrmann(DailyStar).

Liverpool are looking to sign Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Valon Berisha for £2.5 million (Talksport). The Merseyside club have been tracking the Nowegian international for a while now and are expected to seal the transfer.
