Manchester United’s teen sensation Paul Pogba is close to signing for Juventus

Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba was seen getting off a jet in Italy and his future as a Juventus player is nearly confirmed, say sources. The French midfielder had raised a lot of questions about his committment to the Red Devils towards the second half of last season when he supposedly asked for too high a wage. The deal seems to have been done, though, and the player is now mere formalities away from signing with the Italian giants.

..meanwhile, United weigh up bids for Leighton Baines and Viktor Fischer

Manchester United’s links to Evertonian left-back Leighton Baines have re-emerged with the future of Parki-ji-Sung and one of the da Silva twins now in the negotiations as well. Sir Alex has reportedly offered the transfer of either of Park or one of the Da Silva twins on loan in exchange for the most consistent left-back in the EPL for some while now. United have also been keeping tabs on Ajax wonderkid Viktor Fischer for quite a while now and are looking to lure the 17-year-old Danish midfielder to Old Trafford for a suspected fee of €11m.

Tottenham midfielder Niko Krancjar to join Dynamo Kiev

Niko Krancjar’s agent has confirmed that the talented Croatian will be on his way out of White Hart Lane after failing to settle into British football. However, the player has made it clear that he is only focussed on Euro 2012 right now and all future endeavours can wait till after the tournament.

Papiss Cisse says he will stay at Newcastle

Newcastle sensation Papiss Cisse has put an end to all rumours in the transfer market about his speculated move to a Manchester club by saying that he will not be moving from S. James’ Park and will strive to take the Magpies into top-flight European football next season:

“I am very happy in Newcastle and I want to stay there for many years. I am looking forward to next season.
…Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Roberto Mancini have similar things to say

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has long been linked with a move to French giants PSG but has denied any such rumours and quashed all such theories.

“It is not true. PSG? No. There are so many things being said about my future but those are only rumours. I am a Milan player and I am very happy in this club.”

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has echoed Ibrahimovic’s words after laughing off rumours that he is interested in the Swede’s services for his side:

“Ibrahimovic is a champion but I already have four very strong strikers. I just need them to compete in the Champions League”
Fernando Llorente hints at move to Premier League

Demand for strike Fernando Llorente’s services are reportedly high this year as Barcelona, Bayern, Manchester City and Arsenal have all emerged as potential suitors for the striker. The striker has fueled the sparks more by admitting that he might be on his way to the Premier League thanks to a few words from his compatriots:

“I might end up playing in England, who knows? At the moment I’m at Athletic Bilbao, but who knows later? Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torres have told me about the immense respect that the fans have for their players there.”
