Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba was seen getting off a jet in Italy and his future as a Juventus player is nearly confirmed, say sources. The French midfielder had raised a lot of questions about his committment to the Red Devils towards the second half of last season when he supposedly asked for too high a wage. The deal seems to have been done, though, and the player is now mere formalities away from signing with the Italian giants.
Manchester United’s links to Evertonian left-back Leighton Baines have re-emerged with the future of Parki-ji-Sung and one of the da Silva twins now in the negotiations as well. Sir Alex has reportedly offered the transfer of either of Park or one of the Da Silva twins on loan in exchange for the most consistent left-back in the EPL for some while now. United have also been keeping tabs on Ajax wonderkid Viktor Fischer for quite a while now and are looking to lure the 17-year-old Danish midfielder to Old Trafford for a suspected fee of €11m.
Niko Krancjar’s agent has confirmed that the talented Croatian will be on his way out of White Hart Lane after failing to settle into British football. However, the player has made it clear that he is only focussed on Euro 2012 right now and all future endeavours can wait till after the tournament.
