Juventus midielder Paul Pogba 

Paris Saint Germain are plotting an audacious €70 million move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba (InsideFutbol). The French midfielder is under contract at Juventus till 2016 with a contract extension imminent but that hasn’t deterred the French giants from attempting to trigger his release clause.

Chelsea are already preparing for life without Juan Mata by planning a £11 million move for FC Basel midfielder Mohammed Salah (LondonEveningStandard). The 21-year old Egyptian has impressed in his outings against Chelsea in the Champions League this season and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has marked him out to be the man to replace the Spaniard who has almost sealed his move to Manchester United.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has admitted his interest in playing for Paris Saint-Germain in the near future (TouchlineTalk). He told French radio station RMC about a possible move: “Why not? Everything’s going well with City at the moment, but you never know. When you have big teams like that, who already have big players, it’s obviously attractive.”

Arsene Wenger is plotting a £6 million move for Barcelona’s highly rated La Masia product Sergi Roberto (SportsDirectNews). Wenger watched the midfielder in action against Levante last night and hopes to seal a move to Arsenal in the next few days.

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is set to revive his interest in Lyon captain Maxime Gonalons (InsideFutbol). The 24-year old midfielder has already made his desire to leave the French club public with Arsenal also reportedly interested in the player.

Manchester United have rejected the chance to sign former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song from Barcelona for £10 million (Telegraph). Senior figures at the Manchester club have ruled out a move for the Cameroonian international.

Shakthar Donetsk have made a formal offer for Manchester United target Everton Ribeiro (SambaFoot).
