Butt's strength and hard tackling style fundamentally accounted for his role as a holding midfielder. His role was of a classic fetcher and carrier, covering every blade of grass but he also boasted sharp passing skills and could make timely runs into the box as well.

Nicky Butt and David Beckham both were a part of United’s famous “Class of ‘92”. Together they have won a staggering six Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups and one Champions League in United’s treble-winning season of 1998-99, a feat that no other English club has achieved.

Hashtagging #MatchForChildren in every post, he also wrote about Ryan Giggs with whom Beckham enjoyed immense success at Old Trafford. The two played alongside each other at a number of levels within United’s academy before breaking into the first team.

Ronaldinho not to be left out was one of those players with whom Beckham was lucky to share the pitch with during his time at AC Milan. The two would meet again when the former English captain had moved on to the MLS but Dinho remained with the Italian club, and they will come face to face again.
