David Luiz: Man City's £30m bid rejected by Chelsea?

Headline featured in The Sun this morning.

This morning we have woken up to this headline as featured in The Sun that Chelsea have rejected a bid of around £30m for David Luiz from Manchester City.

Now Luiz didn’t feature in the game last night after “Tweeting” that he had a knee injury as featured on here yesterday. According to the article, he has been fined by the club for doing so – which I find hard to believe.

As for City’s bid? I just can’t see Chelsea doing any kind of business with City, just the same as they do not want to do business with any of their rivals.

Surely Luiz would turn them down anyway as after all, when he decides that he wants to move away, it would be to La Liga and Barcelona.

Sorry City, you may have money to burn, but you forget that you are following in our footsteps and we don’t need to sell players.

We are European Champions after all!

What do you people realistically think about all this? Is it just total rubbish, pure speculation or do you think it actually has substance?

For me, we HAVE to keep David Luiz.
