David Luiz wants to stay at Chelsea

David Luiz has thrashed the speculation linking him with a move abroad and insists he is happy at Chelsea.

The Brazilian defender has been rumoured heading for PSG as a possible replacement for Thiago Silva, who himself has been linked to Barcelona.

But Luiz says he is determined to see out his contract at the Stamford Bridge and says he does not want to talk to any club.

“I do not like rumours about my possible departure. I have a contract with Chelsea until June 2017 and I do not want to talk to any other club,” Luiz told Globoesporte.

Jose Mourinho has on record stated that Luiz is an important part of the team.

Mourinho, after the news broke out that Juan Mata and Luiz were used in player exchange deal regarding Chelsea’s failed bid for Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney, said: “I am not going to contact them based on news that is not true and that they know that it is not true, because I told them they are very important for me.”
